Paige Spiranac shocked fans with her latest controversial comment about LIV Golf's Chief, Greg Norman. As a Golf Babe, she's one of the biggest influencers of the sport, and people are always interested in what she has to say.

Although she'd reduced her criticism of LIV Golf for a while, Spiranac made another jarring statement about Norman and the Breakway Tour that had people talking. Perhaps she's picked a side in the ongoing battle of Tour.

Updating Fans Via YouTube Vlogging

Spiranac hosted a Vlog on her YouTube channel during the tour of Lake Geneva. Following weeks of heavy criticism against the Breakway Tour, she did a 180 and dropped some comments on its dress code, especially the one allowing men to wear shorts on the course.

Spiranac Has Doubts On The Location

The 29-year-old also hosts a Podcast, "Playing A Round," where she shares opinions on golf. The latest episode, It's A Bit, saw her discussing with longtime friend Dan Regester and dropping more controversial views.

She shared her thoughts on the recent LIV Golf tour, including its roots and location choices. With its club Rich Harvest Farm being a long way from Chicago, Spiranac couldn't understand why LIV named the Windy City its host.

Despite that, Spiranac demanded a more specific location announcement in the future for a larger turnout.

Kudos On The New Dress Code

Speaking on Norman's new dress code permitting shorts in the tournament, Spiranac said they might as well go naked. She said,

"No Shorts. like they're doing shorts... Have tank tops... like let's really push the dress code. Pop Top. Yeah Shorts... Don't even wear clothes. Why does Greg Norman even need to wear clothes?"

She sarcastically added that they should allow the competitors to go naked to really push the envelope. Read the full transcript on Otter.

Final Thoughts

LIV Golf remains a nemesis for her PGA Tour, which Spiranac vocally supports. In recent news from Golf Week, the two opposite leagues are engaged in a legal battle. They have different rules and opinions on how players should conduct themselves, with critics calling out the PGA league for allegedly firing players without cause.

Spiranac, however, took to her Twitter to support LIV's new shorts policy, adding that she'd always advocate for less clothes. She wrote,

"I've always been in favor of less clothes. LIV golf allowing the guys to wear shorts is cool. Hope the PGA Tour does the same."
